I recommend that you think about the kinds of responsibilities and projects that you enjoy working on, feel passionate about, and complement your strengths. Are they all tied to a specific aspect of HR or are they about different parts of the job?
Also, consider what kind of employers that you would like to work for. In my case, I am a generalist and have worked primarily for smaller organizations. Typically, specialists work for larger employers whereas generalists find more opportunities for small to medium-sized businesses.
